We are Rob and Julie Hall, passionate whisky collectors. Our love of The Macallan started in the winter of 2004. We were having a Christmas break at a Scottish castle, way up north near Inverurie, and this is where we had our very first taste of this wonderful nectar.
Some years later, whilst travelling around Scotland in our motorhome with friends, we decided to visit The Macallan distillery. We had a tour and bought our very first bottle of 18 year old - we also drank copious amounts of their infamous whisky Liquor Amber, and can tell you, a good time was had by all!
We continued to collect Macallan and built up our own private collection of discontinued and rare items. This was our inspiration to turn our passion for Macallan into a business, which is now Rare Scotch.
